The Ruby Summer of Code call for student proposals closes THIS FRIDAY, and there's still room for more students to jump in. I'd love to see some folks get paid to work on JRuby projects over the summer, and we've put up a list of ideas here: http://kenai.com/projects/jruby/pages/RubySummerOfCode2010
There's also Ruby and Rails ideas on the RubySOC page at http://rubysoc.org/students, where you can also find the proposal form. What could be better than getting paid to work on OSS over the summer while familiarizing yourself with a strong JVM language implementation (i.e. JRuby)! And also, if you know any students that might be interested in RubySOC or professors/colleges/universities that might have such students, please pass this along to them. Thanks :) - Charlie -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "JVM Languages" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
