We are using the same version. I remember having your issue and I can’t remember what the problem was (this was early on trying to use it). I wish I would have taken better notes. However, one thing I can remember was that you will need to move the js-1.6R2 jar above the WAS5.1 runtime libraries or you will get problems. I found that thing on some obscure post on a different site.

I would recommend downloading the source jars for some of these if possible, it will help you debug issues you run in to.

What version of WAS are you running? 5.1? 6.0? I think the IBM runtimes have a version of StringUtils so you might need to move the Commons-lang jar higher (or lower) in the Export order. Go to the properties of your project and Java Build Path. Try moving it around and doing a Clean and Build. See if that helps.
