the new 3.2 beta 2 release on sourceforge should fix the ldif problem - it was a simple GUI glitch... give it a shot and let me know how you go :-).

Ah, let me have a look at that - you're quite right, you should be able to just use any of the normal 'save' options. I'll look at the code tomorrow and see if I can figure out what's going on. We might need to update our tests as well :-).
