Can anyone confirm whether an entry should be made in the VisitorRole table
as an authenticated user when you "Create a new account"?
The problem is that I set up an account on our Jyve system (build 20000525)
a couple of months ago and it has a role of authenticated_user in
VisitorRole and I can do anything that authenticated_users can do such as
add questions etc. Users creating new accounts now do not get assigned a
role and as a result cannot do anything except look at the data.
I can't remember adding a role to my account through SQL but I cannot find
any other way of assigning a role to a user automatically. Is it likely that
I have broken the create a new account routine or must I have added the role
directly through SQL or is there some other way of assigning a role to a
user?
