My aim behind pushing for a WAR release is that it should work "out of the 
box".
If we use HypersonicSQL (like jetspeed 1.3a1 war does!) then we can setup
the database and populate it in advance before installation. Setting up MySQL
or Oracle seems to be one of the sticking points for people. At least it is the
first couple of times - it gets easier with practise :-)

Have I missed out a mailing list or something because I haven't seen
any evidence of any rewrite - I'd like to help because I've already
found Jyve to be very useful.
