Hello all,
I've been away for a bit. I should be able to show you the new
jyve system sometime within the next couple of weeks, the basic system
will be pretty much complete except for the permission part. I'll have a
lot more to say once I get the demo up for all of your input.
In any case, not displaying input such as '<text>' is not a bug, the
browser thinks it's a type of tag. You can always do
<pre> <text> </pre> or < >
The new jyve system has the ability for the designer to place input
filters/validators so that users must enter valid input.
These validators can be used on the server side as well as on the client
(i.e. javascript). An 'HTML' validator can be used to prevent users from
typing invalid html (e.g. </table> <table>...) that could really screw up
the presentation.
Any way, hold on for a bit more; thanks!
more soon,
mike
