I am trying to add a "screen" to Jyve which serves the client with an RDF
file listing the most recent answers added to a Jyve FAQ. The idea is that
this RDF
would be used by portal software like Jetspeed.
I think that you ought to be able to specify either a project or a FAQ and the
hence RDF generated would be limited to that project or FAQ.
Anyway - The problem I have is that since Jyve uses a very old version of
Turbine
I am uncertain what to do to generate XML rather than html.
I can use ECS to generate most of the XML but I am currently getting a page
with the html head and body tags, plus the button bar at the foot of the page.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for serving an XML file in the
Jyve generation of turbine?
I assume that I need to specify a new layout without the footer in it - but
will
that get rid of the <html><head></head><body> and </body></html> tags?
Now I have seen people say in other newsgroups that screens are dead -
Should we really rip apart Jyve v2.0 and update it for the latest version
of Turbine -
or is Mike Haberman the only active Jyve developer?
