Maybe I can help on this one. We have POP3. What I do is delete emails from my mobile device. That way, I get them at both places and once I have them, I can easily delete them all from the server from the mobile device. I can also use my mobile device to weed through the emails that I want to download to the desktop without having to do that there. So, in K9, set it that you want the emails to be deleted from the server when deleted in K9. To me, it is the easiest way to maintain my POP3 account. Hope that helps.
