Hello,
First of all, thanks so much for developing this great app. I was
wondering, however, if you might take my request into consideration for
future releases. Do you think you could provide a setting which allows
for the user to select a different or custom notification icon? The k-9
icon almost exactly resembles my stock SMS text icon so when I check my
phone throughout the day and see the white envelope it is hard for me to
immediately realize if it is an email or a text message. Such a minor
thing, but really creates a better experience when using your device.
Thanks in advance!

I'm amazed at how much attention the K-9 notification has received over the years. It used to be different but was accused of being ugly...

The number of messages in the icon went away...

More notification icons than desired... (This one is really funny when you realize what the second icon is. Was 7 messages in before someone responded with the right answer.)

Sadly, I don't think there are any applications that can modify the notification icon, it's compiled into the program. But you could always download the source code, change the icon and recompile.
