I suffer from the same problem with K-9 5.002 on Samsung GT-P3110, Android 4.1.2, with an IMAP Acoount at German Provider All-Inkl. First it seemed to be a SSL/TTS, problem, worked fine without ecryption, after a while I got it workin also with STARTTLS, but after a while It was no longer possible to send mails, and now also without encryption is broken. These accounts always worked fine with several WINDOWS PC. Until now I did not try an other Email Client on Android I already saw lot of different Error messages during account settings. Latest for attempt to use unenrypted mail sending (translated from German): "Can not connect to Server - Authentication methods SASL PLAIN and LOGIN are unavailable."
