No, probably in my explanation! Thanks for trying to help. All mail has downloaded to pc ok, and according to the data settings on my phone the foreground data usage is 193mb. I assumed that's the emails themselves, the background data usage is 1.92gb. The app setting for the account is to fetch up to 32kb so even if it was the email and there were some biggies they would only download by special request
