Testing and Tears
"I have just sat thru the first grade stanford 9 test with my son, second
part is tomorrow. He is generally strong in math and weak in reading, today
was mostly reading. He was in tears after the reading comprehension (which

Am I pushing my kids too hard?
"I think I am pushing my kids to hard. I have found out they like to learn
the same things... example.. when one is doing math.. the other wants to do
that also. I have also found out that themes work best in our family. I
have tons of books, etc that are basically a waste of a workbook.. It
literally takes all day to get them to do 10 pages, etc in there. My
question is. I am kind of nervous if I go to all themes..." (DRIZELLA)
