Check them out, share your ideas, and have fun! -"I'm going to be teaching at the elementary school level, and I was wondering if anyone had any neat ideas for back-to-school bulletin boards." http://worldcrossing.com/WebX?.eebeec6 AOL click here. -"I've always had a hard time planning just the right things for my kindergartners to do for the first few days of school to build community and learn expectations. Any ideas? ... You will find it in the yellow bar just above the list of messages, on the left. For example, if you want to view only those messages that pertain to science, just click on "search" and enter the info in the form, and all of the posts that talk about science will come up! This is a great feature of the message board that is often overlooked. Try it! From the Classroom... This week's anecdote was sent in by Kelley, a PreK teacher in Washington: I had this child in my class who could make anyone smile. Well, we were out at recess and he asked me to help him put a penny in his pocket. I asked him where he got it. He said he found it on the ground. He said that if he keeps it in his pocket that his Dad said that it would grow into bigger and better money. Now if that isn't the cutest thing ever, and to tell you sometimes I find myself stuffing my pockets with pennies. I NEED YOUR STORIES! We all have a funny or heart-warming teaching stories!
