THIS WEEK FROM THE LIBRARIANS' INDEX TO THE INTERNET...

In New This Week (the list below, also at http://lii.org/ntw ),

Dial in to a nifty resource for locating radio and TV stations, then
celebrate diversity with a suite of sites related to the Arab, Basque,
Japanese, Chinese, and Asian experiences in America. Mystery writers
can get a clue about research from a librarian/author. Explore sites
related to anthropology, aviation, cover crops, teen health, care for
the aged, pop culture in the Nuclear Age, C.S. Lewis, and those
ponderable words known as heteronyms.

California-specific resources include two library program guides for
the upcoming statewide reading program for The Grapes of Wrath, a
web site about Father Tupa's mission paintings, and a truly "wild"
site nature lovers will enjoy.

More New This Week ( http://lii.org/mntw ) --

Wax poetic with two sites related to poetry slams and one to Harte
Crane, stroll through Canada and Australia for more educational
edification, and hobnob with Hart Crane; then stretch your brain with
resources related to pregnancy, probability, books, blogs, dogs,
magnets, stats, arts, and that fad for raw food.

Bon appetit!

Karen G. Schneider, Coordinator, lii.org
Martha Gifford, Wendy Hyman, Pat Fell, & Bill Moseley
And over 130 indexers!
