Mission STS-112 began as Space Shuttle Atlantis soared into space Tuesday, October 7th. Atlantis carried a new part of the Space Station, the S1 Truss, to orbit. But as a special highlight for this mission, a new camera was installed atop the External Tank for launch. It gave us a totally different look at launch and ascent.
