Actually, no additional scanning is performed to discover Kaboodle+VNC Servers on the net. Our solution was to use the standard Kaboodle network discovery procedure to transfer the VNC-related pieces of data. These are what you see when you open the property panel for your own PC and go to "VNC Server Settings on ServerName" group: 1. Activity bit: "Use Kaboodle to control the startup Vnc server" checkbox 2. TCP port number: "Connect to partner Kabbodle on port:" editbox These two data pieces are transferred to a remote machine.
