Imran: Hello! I had some questions regarding your software module:
1. Given the system "PC1 -> GW1 -> GW2 -> PC2", where PC1 sends packets to PC2 via Gateway1 that's VPN'd with Gateway2, what is the added latency that you've measured for a packet? That is, how long does a simple TCP packet take to travel from PC1 to PC2 directly, as opposed thru the tunnel? 2. What is the efficiency of the tunnel? That is, if I'm sending 100kB of compressed data from PC1 to PC2, how much data is exchanged between GW1 and GW2? 3. How are the above two quantities affected when 4 other channels are simultaneously using the tunnel? Ideally, the latency and efficiency are not affected at all, while the effective total bandwidth is reduced to exactly 20-percent of the original. 4. What is the limit on the maximum number of simultaneous, active channels in your design?
