Hello! I tested the VPN capability this AM. It's
*close* to being correct, but it's doing one thing wrong.
The partnership file search is supposed to search
at "gnutella.getengaged.net", *not* with the IP-address
that's in the PartnershipFile. If that IP-address is
correct, it will still work of course. But the point of
using an independent server is so that the IP-address in
that file doesn't need to be correct.
This may be why Imran@spsoft and VK@oasis cannot
get their VPN's to connect.
Ideally, Kaboodle would start the search with the
IP-address in that file, and then move on to search at
"gnutella.getengaged.net" if the first search doesn't work.
Should be a relatively straightforward fix. Thanks!
