Heyaz. This is an announcement that version 0.80 of the Kaboodle
LAN-Management utility for Windows has been released. Woo. :)
Improvements from version 0.75 include:
1. Improved UI: devices now grouped by type. Up-arrow, Dn-arrow,
Page-Up, Page-Dn, Return (to open a device's PropertyPanel) and
Escape (to close a device's PropertyPanel) all working.
2. Much faster LAN population discovery and VNC server discovery.
3. VNC Viewer initiation to non-Kaboodle machines working now.
The whole VNC interface has been re-engineered, really.
4. Authorized VNC users can now be managed in an "Access List".
5. VPN registration, partner setup and initiation all improved.
For secure'ifyng VNC, the encrypted tunneling capability
is still limited to same-LAN traffic right now. But I'm optimistic.
