Just from MY personal experience:

TightVNC Unstable is the easiest for me to use for several reasons:

1.  Fits on a floppy.
2.  Has decent compression.
3.  Has a good viewer.
4.  Has registry settings for hiding the tray helper.
5.  Runs well as a service.
6.  With regEdits, it's airtight against meddling.
