G'day folks,

I'm playing with a new install from Kaboodle_0.99d_Setup.exe

The app discovers 5 devices (correct) then reports "Classifying new devices... 1 of 5" and crashes.

Kaboodle has caused an error in
KABOODLE.EXE.
Kaboodle will now close.

There is one XP SP2 machine on the network. I read the thread "Help with Kaboodle" started by Richard Peters on 2004-10-22 01:05. That looked hopeful for a while! I guess 0.99d doesn't quite fix the problem with XP SP2?

The PC already had UltraVNC (100RC18) installed plus WinPCap (from WinPcap_3_1_beta_3.exe).

Any ideas where to look next?

(Also - a little suggestion - it would be useful if the application was internally named and versioned instead reporting itself as "EF MFC Application".)

Thanks in anticipation...

Ken
