Not necessarily. Although it helps keeping the "target audience" up to date on 
what's being worked on. :) And it also helps tracking the changes that are 
not mentioned in the ChangeLog.

If it is a big problem, Jim might want to consider creating a kaffe-patches 
mailing list, for CVS commits & patch related traffic. Short term solution: 
filter mails coming from Kaffe CVS <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
