Additionally, it supports relatively long term persistence of messages to support a wide variety of consumers, partitioning of the message stream across servers and consumers, and functionality for loading data into Apache Hadoop for offline, batch processing. A list of the most important issues to address in the move towards graduation - Invite diverse new active committers Any issues that the Incubator PMC (IPMC) or ASF Board wish/need to be aware of? - None How has the community developed since the last report? - Added a new committer. Continued contribution to source code in fixes and features and continued activity on the mailing lists. How has the project developed since the last report? - Work was begun on 0.8 release which includes our replication feature and also requires a breaking change for existing consumers/producer to the wiring protocol. ************************************************************************************************************************************** On Mon, Apr 2, 2012 at 11:32 AM, Joe Stein <crypt...@gmail.com> wrote: > besides myself were there any committers added since the last board report? > > since this is not announced it is hard to keep track of but from the list > here http://people.apache.org/committers-by-project.html#kafka I don't > think so > > I am going to leave "Invite diverse new active committers" on the most > important list for graduation. > > the update coming shortly/later this afternoon > > On Sun, Apr 1, 2012 at 10:48 PM, Jun Rao <jun...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> Joe, >> >> Are you still on this? >> >> Thanks, >> >> Jun >> >> On Sun, Apr 1, 2012 at 5:24 PM, Marvin <no-re...@apache.org> wrote: >> >> > >> > >> > Dear podling, >> > >> > This email was sent by an automated system on behalf of the Apache >> > Incubator PMC. >> > It is an initial reminder to give you plenty of time to prepare your >> > quarterly >> > board report. >> > >> > The board meeting is scheduled for Wed, 18 April 2012, 10:00:00 PST.
