Joe,

It will be good to make the release available in the Kafka directory
at /www/www.apache.org/dist -
http://incubator.apache.org/guides/releasemanagement.html#understanding-distribution

Also, a lot of users have asked the release jar to be available
through Maven. It will be great to have that.
