I am doing some research and need information on an Islamic finance transaction that was concluded couple of years ago whereby Citi acted as financial advisors to Mobily (Saudi telecom operator) to develop a path-breaking Murabaha financing based on the intangible assets – “Minutes of Airtime Usage.” This was widely considered as one of the most innovative Islamic facility and is also the largest Shariah compliant facility in the world.
