We would also like to invite you to attend AAOIFI's annual international Shari'ah conference, edition 15, which will convene, under the auspices of the Central Bank of Bahrain, on Wednesday and Thursday, 12-13 April 2017, at Diplomat Hotel, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. This conference is the most influential annual event on Shari'ah issues relating to the Islamic finance industry, worldwide. This year, it will cover, in seven sessions, a set of very important topics, including: distinctive features of the regulatory and supervisory framework for the Islamic finance industry; legal and Fiqhi cognizance of "agreements, contracts, and MOUs, as well as committments/obligations, promise (Wa'ad), mutual promising (Muwa'adah), and undertaking); objectives of Shari'ah and their role as to contemporary reasoning (Ijtihad) for financial transactions.
