lc could be pretty sweet.
The interface is kind of raw, though I see what you're trying to do.
I disagree with putting everything in a tree list -- that requires way
too much clicking to configure a kernel. Also, it's scary to be
presented with every option at once. It's easy to get lost. I find
the original xconfig windowing interface much nicer to use.
Making the help always visible at the bottom is a neat idea.
Your configuration language seems reasonable at first glance. I haven't
looked at it carefully yet; I'd like to do that in the next few days.
Are you going to continue to develop this? It's got a long way to go,
but (IMO aside from the tree list) it does seem like it's headed in the
right direction. And it's niiiice and fast.
