Its true...Macromedia is working on a free point release for the new version of Flash/Flash Pro.
It will be released shortly and includes significant bug fixes (both crash and lost/corrupt data bugs), a massive increase in the amount/quality of documentation and other assorted fixes & changes to the application. Everyone who has downloaded and installed the currently available version (trial, commercial, devnet, NFR, etc) should install the update when it is available. For those of you who have 'used-up' your 30 day trial, this should reset it and let you try the product again for 30 days. So, the long story short is that MM will be taking care of their customers, as you had hoped. The product(s) are being fixed and shortly your Flash problems (at least the majority) will be in the past. If you have specific questions, please email me off-list.
