I am totally in charge of the code that is used.  If somebody wants to look at or change the code, they have to go through me.  There where 5 people before writing code and testing.  Since I came on board that policy has changed.  They have to clear it with me.

Those 40 different people..do they actually have their fingers in your code? The reason im asking is we're trying to figure out if we really want to keep using the check in and out. Back when the other guy and I were still in college (he went to SEMO, I went to KSU) I used CF Studio and he used frontpage. Sometimes we would screw up and over write each others files. Check in and check out has solved that but now if your local files are not synced with the server you wind up overwriting your own files which can be bad when your overwrite is code you wrote 3 hours ago. Not to mention the hassle of going off and leaving a file checked out when the other guy wants it and don't even get me started on the template feature.

I have input from about 40 different people as to what they want done.  I have to satisfy about 350 users across the world.  Have 3 main office locations.
Have numerous job sites as needed.

How many people do you work with on projects?

I don't use the feature.
It hangs me up to much to use it.

I was wondering if anybody actually used the check in check out feature in DWMX. The crayon pusher and I use it but its quite cumbersome and sometimes gets us into trouble.
