And Dolphin crashes when tying to show the tooltip for *.desktop files. To reproduce: 1. Open System Settings>Applications>File Associations>Application>x-desktop 2. Remove both the *.desktop and *.kdelink from the Filename Patterns box 3. Remove all the entires from the Application Preference Order 4. Click Apply 5. Try to start "kcmshell5 filetypes" of navigate to Open System Settings>Applications>File Associations to see crash.
