Bug ID: 357187 Summary: The "Find" functionality needs to be able to search more than the current visible page Product: khelpcenter Version: 4.11.5 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kde-doc-engl...@kde.org Reporter: erben...@comcast.net currently the "Find" function only searches whatever page is visible in the help center window. There needs to be an additional find button/menu item that can: 1. search all of the help topic selected 2. search all of help (entirely) also, and this is unrelated to "Find" specificly, but the various kate plugins are VERY poorly documented. for example in the help we find this: Project Plugin - Project plugin for kate Thats it!? Help should document how to use it, what menu its on and more (the more the better) I find this kind of thing to be rue for a lot of topics in help center. Reminds me of Borland, the company nearly died due to bad help documentation, dont let this happen to KDE - PLEASE! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Help 2. Select a topic e.g office (any topic in contents) on left sidebar 3. click the Find button Actual Results: searches ONLY the visible page. Expected Results: should search the entire topic -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
