The installation of kdelibs5-plugins fixed this issue. Please add kdelibs5-plugins as a dependency when packaging kturtle. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mint 17.3 Cinnamon (64 bit) 2. sudo apt-get install kturtle 3. run kturtle from the terminal (to see the errors upon crashing). 4. Click "Save", "Save As", or "Open" Actual Results: kturtle crashes because it can't access KDE libraries. The installation of kdelibs5-plugins fixes the issue. Expected Results: kturtle should have opened a save/open dialogue. This issue occurred in multiple (30+) machines running Cinnamon.
