Bug ID: 497077 Summary: Improve useability by way to show more information without extra clicks Classification: Plasma Product: plasma-nm Version: git-stable-Plasma/6.1 Platform: Kubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: applet Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: villene...@arcor.de Target Milestone: --- Hi, currently left clicking once on the applet brings up the list of connections and below the names of the connections it either shows the current upload/download rates or the last used date. To see the current IP-adress (or those of the default gateway etc.) the user has to click on the downarrow on the right of a connection. So what IMO needs to be done is that the user has the option to always directly show the view which so far demands a click on the downarrow. Instead of implementing a strict on/off option for that it could also be made dependent on the current size of the applet window. So far when the user increases the size all he gains is a whole lot of even more empty space (unless he has dozens of connections of course). So ideally the applet would automatically show more connection details the bigger the user makes the window. It should also then not hide the "setup" button which is currently also hidden beneath the "downarrow-view". Greets! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
