Thank you for the report!
I haven't experienced this myself with gstreamer backend, and if plain VLC has
the same issue, it might be something that's coming from there, then. Also
adding this to the list of bugs that would be probably fixed by audio backend
rework ( https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/amarok/-/issues/11 )
