I'm not surprised you can't reproduce my experience, since you're using Kernel 6.11: the problem presents with Kernel 6.12.1-4 (the only version of Kernel 6.12 available to me on my system). I should have been more specific; the applet window opens on left click, but it's impossible to do anything further with it. I hope this helps.
