digiKam 8.5.0, Windows 11 23H2.
Feature request: Set Focus on input field "Enter tag here".
When in any of Thumbnail/Preview/table mode and Right Menu bar Captions (Tab
either Descriptions or Information): While adding information in any of the
fields you then wish to tag the image and click on Tab Tags, digiKam should
always set cursor focus on input field "Enter tag here".
In this way the user saves time not needing to navigate to this field by mouse
movements, but instead immediately can start typing the new or sought after
tag. Important especially when tagging a large amount of new images. The
possibility to use "Right click/Assign tags" is a more limited functionality
because it is limited to the last ten used tags and needs more clicks. But
anyhow both alternatives should be available to the user.
It is such a small change in the code but can save a lot of time for the user.
