Thank you for the feature request. It's been a long time since this was opened,
and the behavior of Application Dashboard may now do what you want.
When I set it up the way you describe, I'm able to mouse over the categories on
the right side (which is what it sounds like when you describe scrolling over
them). When I hover the cursor over a category, I see the apps under that
category.
If you are looking for different behavior, can you describe what value it would
bring over what I see? Thanks!
