Interactive filters depend on X11, while g'mic can be compiled with X11 on macos making all interactive filters work, this requires all g'mic krita users to have XQuartz installed which is something we cannot expect or ask from users. Without X11 installed g'mic krita plugin would not launch at all. X11 on macOS is being long deprecated, for reference XQuartz last release was january 2023.
