Task Manager Settings

i have two panels (left and and right monitor), with kicker, taskbar, systray.
both panels are set to auto hide.

taskbar notification is disabled (see screenshot)

since one of the latest updates, constant "notifications" keep the panels
visible long past the timeout configured.

for example:
- working with eclipse, I open a dialog to configure something: panel pops up
with the eclipse taskbar entry highlighted, and does not go down -- until i
close that dialog again. i waited two or more minutes and it does not disappear
on its own, which is the very least i expect it to do (and not popping up in
the first place).

- i have program that displays a progressbar during a download -- for each step
in the progressbar the panel pops up. i can get it down again by clicking on
the highlighted entry, but after a moment it's back

there are other scenarios as well, but i guess they boil down to the same
issue.

i did not change notification settings (whichever of the many and well hidden
that may be), and everything was ok. but now this constant nagging is driving
me nuts.
