When locked -> high CPU, loud fan noise I am using X11 with compositor on and one external monitor over HDMI. Turning off compositor does make a difference when locking the laptop -> no high CPU usage, no loud fans. I can't say much about the flip flop of energy saving states. It should be further investigated. But then shortcuts like "Overview" or "Present all open windows" does not work anymore (when compositor off), which completely destroys my process of working. Is there another way to see all open windows in one view?
