Bug ID: 502872
Summary: Plasma login manager: can't apply plasma settings
Classification: I don't know
Product: kde
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
When testing the plasma login manager (not SDDM), the KCM does not allow the
user to apply the plasma settings to the login manager; clicking "apply" in the
popup does nothing, probably because it does not try to elevate privileges as
the "apply" button in the KCM does.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install plasma login manager instead of SDDM
2. Open the KCM and click on "Apply Plasma Settings..."
3. Click "Apply" in the popup
OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens, the popup remains opened.
EXPECTED RESULT
The plasma settings should be applied to the login manager and the popup should
close.
