SUMMARY
Startup and watching picture is very slow. I have 30.000 pictures in my
archive. I tried too speed up startup by changing from SQLite to internal mySql
but it became even slower (from 23 seconds to 35 seconds).
The rendering of pictures is even a little too slow (If I press "next" picture,
it takes like half a second to see it). I used microsoft live photo gallery
before and it was way faster. I like Digikam (and that's the reason why I'm
still using it) but it is too slow.
