Bug ID: 504011 Summary: Add a global shortcut to toggle On-Button-Scrolling (or use Scroll Lock status to turn it on/off) Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS: Unspecified Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: libinput Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: nikolay_anza...@abv.bg Target Milestone: --- Full thead detailing reasons and implementations in-depth: https://discuss.kde.org/t/improvements-to-autoscrolling-middle-click-and-drag-to-scroll/34011/1 Split from this issue: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=503998 as per cwo's suggestion. Autoscrolling / On-button-scrolling / "Hold middle click and move mouse to scroll" feature from the mouse settings menu needs an easy way to be toggled on and off via a global hotkey or Scroll Lock. Having to enter the settings every time you want to switch it on/off is a pain. I propose to use the status of Scroll Lock (with an option to disable the default behaviour of Scroll Lock, which I doubt anyone uses anymore) to turn Autoscrolling on and off, or alternatively be able to bind a global hotkey to toggle it (with a popup like Capslock / input method switching has) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
