I'm talking about this setting.

Steps to reproduce:
1- Have your clipboard empty, and the default setting of copying text just by
selecting them.
2- Select any text.
3- Activate the clipboard's explicit copies setting shown in the attached
image.
4- Try to paste text.

Results:
The text you've selected is still there after changing the setting, and it's
impossible to remove because it's not added to the clipboard.

Expected results: Activating explicit copies should remove the invisible text
that was copied due to being selected.
