Bug ID: 505821 Summary: Auto-Hiding Panels don't work with Touchscreens Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version First 6.4.0 Reported In: Platform: unspecified OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: luis.hamm...@zohomail.eu CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY Panels that are set to automatically hide can be pulled up by either touching the screens edge with the mouse cursor, or by swiping from that edge on touchscreens. Only with the latter, the panel won't actually hide again until one of the widgets in the panel has been opened and closed again. This is annoying when e.g. only wanting to look at the clock widget in that panel. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a panel 2. Set it to "auto-hide" 3. Pull up the panel on a touchscreen OBSERVED RESULT The panel stays shown forever unless interacted with EXPECTED RESULT The panel should hide a few seconds after being pulled up SOFTWARE/OS VERSION Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora KDE 42 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.15.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Wayland (not tested on X11) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
