i am running gnome wayland as described on the arch wiki:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GNOME#Wayland_sessions
export QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland
XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland dbus-run-session gnome-session
i get the same behaviour as reported in bug362204. the splash screen is way
outside left top of kdenlive, and black. some other kde applications do run
correctly, e.g. k3b.
