This actually works, but you need to scroll horizontally, not vertically. So
only on devices/settings that allow horizontal scrolling - horizontal wheels,
side-push wheels, touchpads, pointing sticks and similar push-and-move
scrolling... The common case of a vertical-only mouse wheel is not supported.
