            Bug ID: 506193
Summary: KDE seems to die because of spontaneous unintended
                    virtual terminal switching
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: jjram...@pobox.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

The KDE session seems to suddenly crash (and indeed, that's what I *thought*
was happening, see #505938) and return me to the SDDM display manager screen.
However, if I switch virtual terminals via the usual Ctrl+Alt+F[1-9]
keybindings, I can find the session again.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Unfortunately, I don't know what causes the switch in virtual terminals. It
seems to just happen spontaneously.
