Bug ID: 507518
Summary: kde-connect panel switching is a mess ...
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version First 6.4.80
Reported In:
Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
open kde-connect app
select a connected phone
click on plugin settings
use first entry (run commands) and click on its settings-icon
independent of the width of the window, a new panel opens and shifts the rest
leftwards
click on 'navigate back' (btw, why do we need to aim to the icon? couldn't we
just click the whole text?)
the first click does nothing.
the second click shifts the panels rightward
now click on 'pause media's settings-icon
the rightmost panel changes its contents to 'pause media during calls'
how do we get back?
no backwards icon anywhere to be seen
you can only click on any item of the 'controls' list... but... still a mess
(e.g. click on multimedia control, another panel shift, here we can go back...
but the three panels shown now do have 'controls', 'pause media during calls'
and 'multimedia controls'
Please do a proper QA on the functionality
i'm not sure why we have this change in comparison to the old, systemsettings
integrated kde-connect
It's only gotten worse?
