If you go to the 6.9 cherry pick link
(https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtbase/+/664401) and scroll down you'll
see that it did get cherry picked to 6.8 as well, however Qt 6.8 is now in the
LTS phase, so starting with Qt 6.8.4 only Qt's commercial customers will have
access, and everyone else will either have to stick with Qt 6.8.3 and add the
patch to it manually or switch to Qt 6.9.2/6.10.0 whenever those come out.
